Coverage calculation

Kvant-Efir calculates coverage of analog and digital transmitters. Calculations are carried out by means of licensed WinRPT software on the basis of data provided by the customer:

• geographic coordinates of transmitting antenna;
• antenna height;
• antenna type (gain, radiation patterns in two planes);
• EIRP (at antenna input);operating frequency (TV channel);
• signal type (analog or digital, modulation type, guard interval, channel bandwidth);
• receiving antenna type and height (outdoor antenna, mobile antenna, indoor antenna).

Buildings and vegetation are disregarded during the calculations.
